Hello All,

It’s August, a month where many bookstore customers are looking for a good book to take to the beach. Whether they’re getting away or just wishing they were somewhere else, we’ve got some new titles that can’t go wrong.

Plateau Light, in softcover for the first time, is sure to take readers into the red sands, chocolate crags, and eternally translucent skies of Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona. It’s priced to sell and we know it will do well. Also fresh off the presses is a book that will transport readers to some of the world’s most spectacular beaches, into citrus groves, and past the multimillion-dollar cottages of Corona Del Mar. Orange County: Portrait of a Place is the newest book in our Portrait series, and looks to be a very popular summer title.

Graphic Arts Center Publishing Company will have a booth at the Seattle Gift Show, August 18 to 21, in the Washington State Convention Center (7th Ave. & Pike St. in downtown Seattle). Our booth number is 4101. We are offering an extra 2% discount to retailers for orders placed at the show or received by our rep, Jim Harris (jimh@gacpc.com) no later than August 24th at noon.

We’re also pleased to report that nine titles from GACPC and its distributed publishers will be on the back cover of the 2007 PNBA Holiday Catalog. See below for more information.

Keep reading to find out more great things happening this month.

Regards,

Mike Jones
Dir. of Sales and Marketing
