| | Hello all—
We hope everyone had a great time at BEA in New York. Thanks to all who came by to see Gert Boyle, a.k.a. “Ma Boyle” for the One Tough Mother book signing. Congratulations to the two winners from the Columbia Sportswear jacket drawing, Robin Hickey from Rutgers University bookstore and Celia Holm from the New York City Public Library.
Back in Oregon our children’s title Big-Enough Anna: The Little Sled Dog Who Braved the Arctic was awarded this year’s Patricia Gallagher Book Award by the Oregon Reading Association (ORA). We’d also like to extend congratulations to author Phil Stanford of Portland Confidential: Sex, Crime, and Corruption in the Rose City, for his win of an IPPY award in the True Crime category.
We hope you’re all rested from the show and ready to head into what looks like a terrific summer season. We have some great picks below for the summer reader in all of us so take a look and as always, thank you for your continued support; we couldn’t do it without you.
Regards,
Mike Jones
