Hello all—

August is here and summer will soon be coming to a close! Since July, we been celebrating the launch of The Least of These: Wild Baby Bird Rescue Stories by Joan Harris. Featured in her latest book are thirteen inspiring stories of rescued wild baby birds and their devoted caretakers.

Joan scoured the country seeking stories from rescue and rehabilitation centers. She wanted to engage readers and bring to life the special bond that arises between dependent baby birds and the dedicated volunteers that patiently and lovingly nurse them back to health. As she did in her award-winning One Wing’s Gift: Rescuing Alaska’s Wild Birds, Joan brings these gangly, delicate babies to life on the page in meticulously detailed, Audubon-like drawings. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of The Least of These will be donated to each of the wildlife rehabilitation centers discussed in this book.

Below you’ll find all the press coverage and author events for this and many other titles. If you have any questions, or want to look into setting up an author event at your store or library, don’t hesitate to give us a call. We hope you enjoy the rest of your summer and as always, thank you so much for your continued support.

Regards,

Mike Jones
