First let me say I hope you’re all enjoying a beautiful spring season wherever that may be – here in Portland the rain has finally cleared up and we’re looking down the road at some pretty glorious days to come.

    Author Teri Sloat (Berry Magic) will be at the GACPC booth at this internationally renowned tradeshow for media specialists, librarians, and reading teachers. Alaska and Iditarod units are taught in elementary schools across the US making Alaska Northwest Books for children a hot commodity.

  • Book Expo America – Chicago, IL June 3-6
    New Zealand’s award-winning cookbook author and chef, Annabel Langbein, will be signing her latest book, Cooking to Impress Without Stress at the GACPC booth (#1008), Friday 6/4 at 10:00 am. We look forward to seeing you there!

  • Pam Flowers (Big–Enough Anna and Alone Across the Arctic) just wrapped up a four month tour in which she visited 67 schools in the following states: AK, WY, WA, OR, CA, TX, ME, PA, MI, WI. Pam also did numerous fundraisers for organizations including Humane Societies, Audubon Societies, Sierra Clubs, etc.
