Testimonials

Full of the spirit of aloha, God in Hawaii commemorates the first ten years of New Hope Christian Fellowship in Hawaii. It was produced in collaboration with Island Digital Imaging, creating a colorful book full of photos and inspiring words. The book was given to each member of their congregation and is given as gifts to new members of their church.

The task was monumental to start with, and the time we had to complete the project was very limited. GACPC and your very qualified staff walked us through, every step of the way, resulting in a beautifully bound, full-color book of photographs. . . Congratulations on an outstanding effort from start to finish. We applaud the end result that was only made possible because of a process that you prepared with uncompromising professionalism!

The Paintings of Tucker Smith is a retrospective look at the thirty-plus year career of the renowned Western painter Tucker Smith. It provides an overview of the artist and his work that is distinct from that experienced in an art museum or fine arts gallery. GACPC worked with Tucker Smith to create a book that he could sell to his clients.

I am very pleased with the production of my book by GACPC. I was particularly impressed by how easy they were to work with during designing and proofing. It was obvious they took pride in their work.

This photography book honors one of the Pacific Northwest’s most beloved icons. Photographer Peter Marbach worked with Mount Hood National Forest and Providence Heart and Vascular Institute to create a beautiful book marketed to both bookstores and corporations.

From the moment I conceived the idea of Mount Hood: The Heart of Oregon, I knew that Graphic Arts Center Publishing was the right publisher for the project. GACPC is one of the finest publishers of quality coffee-table books in the nation. It was especially important that the images be of the highest quality since this book was also a partnership with the Mount Hood National Forest and Providence St. Vincent Hospital. I knew that with GACPC as the publisher, my corporate partners would be pleased with the project. I highly recommend GACPC as the publisher of choice for custom book projects.

The extensive project of Queen Mary 2 documents the creation, from keel laying to christening, of one of the most ambitious passenger vessels of all time. GACPC produced the book for Carpe Diem Books who sold it to corporate clients.

Thanks to the experienced and committed team at Graphic Arts Center Publishing, the successful coffee-table book, Queen Mary 2—The Greatest Ocean Liner of Our Time, received extremely high praise from its publisher, Bulfinch Press (Time Warner Book Group), and corporate customer, Carnival Corporation. In light of GACP’s proven editorial expertise and surperb production and printing execution, Carpe Diem Books will continue to use GACP as a primary source for book development.

The McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant celebrated the opening of their 60th restaurant in the United States by creating a cookbook with recipes of some of their most popular dishes. It was a large project that is now sold in all of the McCormick & Schmick’s restaurants throughout the United States.

We found the staff at Graphic Arts to be knowledgeable, capable, and very accommodating. Their friendly, supportive, and professional manner made working with them a pleasant experience altogether. We were very pleased with the quality of the color in the photographs of our project, as well as the accuracy in color matching. For this project, we also had numerous drop ship requests that were efficiently and accurately completed.

The Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District, an agency within the State of California, commemorated its thirty years of preservation and restoration with Peninsula Tales & Trails. GACPC edited, published, marketed, and distributed this photographic trail guidebook. To coincide with the agency’s principles, GACPC used ecologically friendly materials such as postconsumer waste, chlorine-free paper, and soy-based ink.

Peninsula Tales & Trails was produced at the highest quality and at the most competitive cost possible. The District has been pleased with GACPC’s work, which included delivery of the final product on time, and has benefited from their reliability, professionalism, attention to detail, and willingness to respond to the District’s special design criteria and production needs and priorities.
